I am daddy's little girl
The one he loves to love
It's just daddy and me now
Since mama's in heaven above
I wish mama was here with me,
For I am two years old today.
Daddy wishes she was here too,
To help celebrate my special day
Although daddy and I can not see her,
We know mama is watching from above.
She is with my daddy and me today,
Sending down all of her tender love.
We know not the day, nor even the year,
That we will all be back together again.
Time goes so fast and I'll soon be grown,
So I'll just be daddy's little girl until then.
